Have you ever wondered why Satan was kicked out of heaven? Not only did I wonder why I asked why would the principal of the universe and his angels rejoice at the removal of this demonic presence. What spirit did he posses to where “the King of kings and the Lord of lords” was tired of him? Here’s my theory. You ask, “Why was Satan kicked out of heaven. Please share this Blog.
As I begin to research the bible and its reference, one passage of scripture that Intrigue me was Revelations 12:12. It says, “12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhibitors of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.”
This is the part that puzzled me. Heaven is the place of peace, love, joy in God’s spirit. A p[lace of everlasting understanding and the divine presence of God is everywhere, what did Satan do. Let’s examine Revelations 12:12.
Point 1. Heaven is told to rejoice. The opposite of rejoicing is to be in sorrow. Sorrow is defined as …> a feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortune suffered by oneself or others.
Could you imagine the angels having to walk on eggshells, not being able to complete divine assignments having to constantly go to God because of this one angle by the name of Lucifer?
Point 2. Then he tells humanity, “Woe to the inhibitors of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath.”
Woe by definition means…> great sorrow or distress.
Please consider that the devil is bringing to earth God’s creation what heaven was tired of. This spirit is now evolving among the inhibitors of the earth and the sea.
Watch this. the earth now will suffer as heaven did. Remember our definition…> a feeling of deep distress caused by loss, disappointment, or other misfortune suffered by oneself or others.
If we equate this definition with what we understand of “Mental Health we can now understand the issue of heaven and State. No matter what the World is God’s kingdom all his. Then what spirit or mental illness was satan operating in that he was kicked out of Heaven?
I look at many mental disorders and their diagnosis, there was one that stood out to me and is relative satan’s desire to imitate God in every way, that is, “narcissism.” Let me explain.
Mental Health deals with the mind. Consider God has complete control of the thoughts of those who worship him. Even the bible says It’s with the mind that we serve the law of God. Thus Satan was never subject to God and refused to be because of pride, caused by mental delusion. Remember our definition. His desire for God’s kingdom caused a separation because of the fallout in heaven.
Satan is the original and most clear example of a Narcissist / One with insolent pride. (See here for an explanation of why Satan was the original narcissist). By understanding Satan’s insolent pride and his narcissistic traits, we can get another glimpse into the characteristics of narcissists. Here is a partial list of Satan’s narcissistic traits:
His primary goal is to be exalted and worshipped – He could not stand that God was receiving worship and him nothing. We see this with Saul and David. Saul became infuriated when they returned from battle and the young girls said, “Saul killed a thousand but David killed 10 thousand.” From that moment on he literally hated David. It was almost like a game. He begins to study everything David did, who David talked to, where David went. It was not about David but the game of lacking himself allowed his joy to be found in David’s failure.
Isaiah 14:12-14
12 “How you have fallen from heaven,
O star of the morning, son of the dawn!
You have been cut down to the earth,
You who have weakened the nations!
13 “But you said in your heart,
‘I will ascend to heaven;
I will raise my throne above the stars of God,
And I will sit on the mount of assembly
In the recesses of the north.
14 ‘I will ascend above the heights of the clouds;
I will make myself like the Most High.’
Luke 4:6-8
6 And the devil said to Him, “I will give You all this domain and its glory; for it has been handed over to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 Therefore if You worship before me, it shall all be Yours.”8 Jesus answered him, “It is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God and serve Him only.’”
1 Timothy 3:6
6 and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation incurred by the devil..
He is a liar – he lies all the time
John 8:44
44 You are of your father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
.He is lawless (rebellious)
1 John 3:4-8
4 Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness…….. 8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil.
.He is a schemer
2 Corinthians 2:11
11 so that no advantage would be taken of us by Satan, for we are not ignorant of his schemes.
He sometimes acts with a false appearance of righteousness
2 Corinthians 11:14
14 No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.
.He tries to portray a (false) image of power
2 Thessalonians 2:9
9 that is, the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
[The antichrist and false prophet will come with a show of power as satan’s agent, “empowered by satan”. They will try to deceive the world with counterfeit acts. But its a false image of power. God will show the real power when His top angel grabs satan, binds him with a chain, and tosses him into the bottomless pit]
.He is a destroyer and will take as many people as he can down with him
Revelation 12:9
9 And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
.Revelation 12:12
12 For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”
He seeks out “targets”
1 Peter 5:8
8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
He flees when resisted
James 4:7
7 Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
.He tries to ensnare his targets
1 Timothy 3:7
7 And he must have a good reputation with those outside the church, so that he will not fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
He looks for opportune times to make his moves….
Luke 4:13
13 When the devil had finished every temptation, he left Him until an opportune time.

These are just a few. The amazing thing, they all start in the mind. I understand fully now why in Phil. Chapter 2 THe bible Says let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. Jesus also God was the ruler of Heaven and earth, He Kicked satan out and has power over him. Jesus came to earth to die for our sin and to give the believer power over satan. I’m telling you, those that believe in the power of prayer, we must come together to cast out these satanic spirits from our Loved ones and children,
Example –In Mark 4 Jesus and the apostles have just crossed the Sea of Galilee in a little boat. A storm had suddenly come upon them and the apostles almost drowned. But Jesus, who had been asleep, spoke to the water and the wind and they became instantly calm. Jesus had shown the boys that He had power over the natural world. Now Jesus was going to show them that He had power over the supernatural world, as well.
2 When He got out of the boat, iimmediately a man from the tombs with an unclean spirit met Him,
3 and he had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain;
4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him.
5 Constantly, night and day, he was screaming among the tombs and in the mountains, and gashing himself with stones.
6 Seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him;
7 and shouting with a loud voice, he said, “What business do we have with each other, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!”
8 For He had been saying to him, “Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!”
9 And He was asking him, “What is your name?” And he said to Him, “My name is Legion; for we are many.” Bi-Polar etc….
10 And he began to implore Him earnestly not to send them out of the country.
11 Now there was a large herd of swine feeding nearby on the mountain.
12 The demons implored Him, saying, “Send us into the swine so that we may enter them.”
13 Jesus gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea
Notice the man desired to be set free of the demonic spirit. He ran to Jesus fell down and worship God.
Deliverance is based on the desire to be set free. Many have made this spirit palpable to their lives and have wrapped around themselves and are ok living in the type of Tomb. You can’t help them, but pray for those connected to them because like when Satan was in heaven, you have to walk around on eggshells.
