It’s Not Over! Until God Says It’s Over!

Jane Gray

Because we’re in the flesh we’ll sometimes get discouraged and dispirited which will cause us to wanna give up, give in and just quit, but people of God fortunately we are not allowed.

Proverbs 3:5-6 says Trust in the Lord with all thy heart; and lean not unto thy own understanding, in all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

We don’t get to say when it’s over, as servants of God we must continue to push through even when things don’t appear very promising, by faith (complete trust and confidence in God, based on spiritual apprehension without proof) we must stand on Gods promises. God said he’ll never leave us nor forsake us, knowing that he’s with us regardless of what obstacles or difficulties we may face, is enough to get excited about.

And it’s okay to say, I can’t do this any more, and I give up! It’s not displeasing to God to say I quit, but surrender and submit to him, put away our worldly wisdom and the trust and reliability that we in ourselves. His word says give up your desires and your will, and surrender to his will, seek his purpose for our lives, put away anything that self gratifying, and delight in the things that brings him glory.

Psalms 37:4 Delight thyself also in the Lord, and he shall give thee the desire of thy heart. Also,

Matthew 6:33 says But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

God is not concerned about the meaningless things of this world that’s perishing, our cars, houses, bank accounts and our flesh, but if you are diligently seeking to build his Kingdom, his word says he’ll make provision.

John 14:13-14 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father May be glorified in the Son, If you ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

God knows the intent of our heart, so whatever your ministry maybe, however your serving God, continue to trust and believe in the vision that he has shown you..

Dare to go against the grain, believe in what appears impossible, trust someone because God put it on your heart, despite their reputation. Choose the unexpected, call on the least obvious, count on that person that desires a second chance, remembering God will use what and who the world despise and consider worthless.

God never quit. People quit.

We must put aside our feelings and emotions, and hold fast to our faith in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Then watch him work.
