Wisdom does not have eyes

When I think of men like Martin Luther King and Malcom X, it has always intrigued me how that saw their own deaths and were prepared based on a belief. “ The natural Eyes verses the spiritual Mind.” Wisdom does not have eyes yet it sees into places that the human eyes can’t go causing faith to be the guide and lead.

Let me define Godly wisdom…> I’ll keep it simply – Spiritual understanding of the word of God guided by faith. “Wisdom does not have eyes”

We see wisdom in proverbs as the feminine side of God. This would denote the man Jesus or the word of God. I say this based on (1 Cor 11:3) KJV

But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of woman is man, and the head of Christ is God

Consider the text God is at the head of his word Jesus because Jesus came from God, the incarnated word of God. John 14:26 and the word was made flesh and dwelt among us. When wisdom died the spirit of God his word/wisdom was sent forth into all the world so the church the wisdom or the bride of God can not be deceived by the wicked one, the devil.

Wisdom in action – where there is no godly wisdom there is loss.

Our example will come from the life of Solomon. “Wisdom does not have eyes

2 Chronicles 1:10 (KJV)

“Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people: for who can judge this thy people, that is so great?” He ask and received from God.

1 King chapter 3 (AMP)

Solomon Wisely Judges – Do you know this is a spiritual skill not given to all. Not because God won’t give it, most don’t ask, they assume it is automatically given.

16 Then two women who were prostitutes came to the king and stood before him.

17 And the one woman said, “O my lord, this woman and I live in the same house; and I gave birth to a child while she was in the house.

18 And on the third day after I gave birth, this woman also gave birth. And we were [alone] together; no one else was with us in the house, just we two.

19 Now this woman’s son died during the night, because she lay on him [and smothered him].

20 So she got up in the middle of the night and took my son from [his place] beside me while your maidservant was asleep, and laid him on her bosom, and laid her dead son on my bosom.

21 When I got up in the morning to nurse my son, behold, he was dead. But when I examined him carefully in the morning, behold, it was not my son, the one whom I had borne.”

22 Then the other woman said, “No! For my son is the one who is living, and your son is the dead one.” But the first woman said, “No! For your son is the dead one, and my son is the living one.” [This is how] they were speaking before the king.

23 Then the king said, “This woman says, ‘This is my son, the one who is alive, and your son is the dead one’; and the other woman says, ‘No! For your son is the dead one, and my son is the one who is alive.’”

24 Then the king said, “Bring me a sword.” (Godly wisdom he ask God for at work) So they brought a sword before the king.

25 Then the king said, “Cut the living child in two, and give half to the one [woman] and half to the other.”

26 Then the woman whose child was the living one spoke to the king, for she was deeply moved over her son, “O my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him.” But the other said, “He shall be neither mine nor yours; cut him!”

27 Then the king said, “Give the first woman [who is pleading for his life] the living child, and by no means kill him. She is his mother.”

28 When all [the people of] Israel heard about the judgment which the king had made, they [were in awe and reverently] feared the king, for they saw that the wisdom of God was within him to administer justice.

In conclusion, Earthly wisdom appeals to the senses and the emotions. In contrast, the wisdom that is from God reflects Him. While earthly wisdom says always follow your heart, godly wisdom tells us in Jeremiah 17:9 that the heart is deceitful above all things. While earthly wisdom says seeing is believing, godly wisdom tells us in John 20:29 that blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. While earthly wisdom says love your family and friends, godly wisdom tells us in Matthew 5:43-47 to also love your enemies and bless them. While earthly wisdom says there are many ways to God, godly wisdom tells us in Acts 4:12 there is only one way to God, Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the worlds savior, but is he your Lord? If not find a church home that teaches the Gospel message of the Bible, as them to take you through the steps of making him your Lord.
