I want to first say that God is so amazing His word endures forever. To all those read the “Real Talk Blog,” A special thank you for you and yours. You are the apple of God’s eye. “God’s promises explain the end of suffering and pain.”

This is our last blog on the promises of God. If you see we miss any of the biblical promises found in the word of God, please leave a comment in the section below.

God’s promises are something He always keeps. It’s in the Bible, Psalm 89:34. “No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back one word of what I said.”

The promises of God are yes and amen. It’s in the Bible, 2 Corinthians 1:20. “For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

He has promised an end to death, sorrow, and pain. It’s in the Bible, Revelation 21:4. “And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

I so appreciate Revelations 22:1-5 KJV

In Heaven there will be no more fear or worry or stress. We won’t need locks on the doors, or bars on the windows, or sophisticated alarm systems – because everything that causes fear will be eliminated. Evil and Satan and death will be banished forever, and we will no longer be threatened, either by nature or by other people. Conflicts and wars will cease, and all the things that divided us on earth will divide us no more. God’s promise will be fulfilled. In keeping with his promise we are looking forward to “a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness” (2 Peter 3:13).

Revelation 22:1-5 King James Version (KJV)

“22 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

In Conclusion, suffering and pain are a result of the curse on humanity caused by Adam and Eve. Because Jesus got up with all power from the grave and because we are in His image and likeness one day we will also be change, from death to life. We have been sanctified once and for all through the blood of Jesus.

1 John 3 King James Version (KJV)

3 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
