Several years ago I heard A Young Prophetess, J. Campbell teaches on the subject, “Jezebel,” it was and interesting study. I have always been centered around the subject spiritual warfare. I believe the reason the Bible states hell has enlarged itself is because many are not aware of the spirit of Satan. “Jezebel – “The Spirit”
As I always state, it’s not about people it’s about a spirit that somehow has taken over those who make themselves available. The concept she presented was to warn the church of this spirit which is a direct descendent of Satan. I decided to make it a part of our spiritual warfare teaching.
Anyone who desires for you to reject God’s word is and agent for Satan. There is only one truth, the word of God.
Jesus plainly warns 👇🏾 anyone outside this scripture of the fathers will is not operating in Kingdom purpose.

As I Journeyed through the archives of Biblical History this subject has remained in isolation because the understanding of what God word is being lost. Sunday morning has become about blessing only and no warnings. “Jezebel why?”

Looking at the life of Absalom I learned so much on how the enemy desires weakness based on emotional defect. Absalom has all the emotional characteristics that was need for Ahithophel to use against David. Ahithophel found it to control Absalom’s mind which was in motion without a reality.
Like Ahithophel, Jezebel is a perpetrator who seeks to control the emotions of the weak. This spirit is totally against those who have some type of Apostolic gifting/anointing. It sees and knows God’s plan of Redemption and seek to stop the spokesman.
Loneliness sets you up for the Jezebel spirit to release witchcraft against your mind and emotions. Please consider, the purpose of the witchcraft is to wear you down little by little to control your life. Witchcraft is one of the demon spirits in Jezebel’s network.
Network – many within the same network of operation.

7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.

9 And he asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
The Jezebel spirit is always motivated by its own agenda and relentlessly pursuses it. It is intent on getting what it wants. There may be one in every ministry of the church and every family, trying to dominate, arrange, and fix everybody.
- THE JEZEBEL SPIRIT ATTACKS, CONTROLS, DOMINATES, OR MANIPULATS MEN, EXPECIALLY MALE AUTHORITY (HUSBAND, PASTOR, BOSS).
When you first meet Jezebel, she is kind, flattering, and ministered to something inside you. She solved problems, came up with ideas and offered valuable insight. You felt finally someone understood you. You found a friend and companion. As time went by something happened, Jezebel changed. She turned on you with a cold shoulder instead of a warm smile. Imaginations ran wild, and you wondered what you did. Rejection, hurt, puzzlement, and pain surface from within. You are now ready for Phase Two of Jezebel’s control.
For a person to be overcome by the Jezebel spirit, they must fulfill certain conditions. Through witchcraft, the Jezebel spirit wants you to “give ground”. That means you slowly but surely give way to Jezebel’s influence.
The Jezebel spirit wants to steal your will so that you cannot make decisions on your own. This is a “process” that takes no time to accomplish.
Allow me to step aside from the topic. Jezebel spirit is a direct descendent of Satan. This spirit is not in direct correlation with and abuser. Abusers after abuse act as though they are sorry with the presentation or offerings of gifts. Jezebel – is never sorry. This is a dangerous spirit!
First, Jezebel uses seduction. Seduction most always comes through some form of flattery. Flattery is a compliment or something that makes you feel good about yourself. Everyone likes a pat on the back for a job well done, but it’s the motive behind Jezebel’s complement we must discern.
Jezebel’s witchcraft is looking for “something in you” to grab hold of. In the process of time, Jezebel becomes someone you admire and a companion that you look to for counsel.
Little by little she becomes your teacher and instructor while helping you make decisions. You see her as offering spiritual insight, counsel, wisdom, direction, and security. She may even give prophetic words of confirmation and direction. But, as already said, then one day something changes and confusion hits your mind, condemnation begins to set in, you feel insecure, tired, emotionally drained and ready to give up. You stop making decisions on your own and look to Jezebel to make decisions for you.
This spirit is not gender specific – it only desires one to give themselves over to be used in the spirits demonic plan.

11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Within the structure of demonic warfare, 👆🏾- nowhere does it identify a particular person. {satan}
Something is happening to you. You notice Jezebel has replaced all other authority figures in your life including friends, parents, spouse and pastor. You are loosing you will as a person.
Jezebel’s eunuchs want to be controlled. Eunuchs don’t want Godly counsel or wisdom they want someone to make decisions for them. This is the fruit of Jezebel’s witchcraft because eunuchs have given up their wills to the Jezebel long ago. Eunuchs just look for another controller.
Eunuchs surrender their will to Jezebel and allow her to make final decisions. As the witchcraft beats you down, you slowly give ground.
A Christian should surrender only to Christ, not to Jezebel. Jezebel’s witchcraft releases confusion, loss of personal identity, and emotional dullness. The dullness is similar to a drunken stupor.
Jezebel in the church at Thyatira usurped spiritual authority. The ultimate goal is to conquer or neutralize the prophet, because a discering pastor, propeht, or Christian leader is Jezebel’s greatest enemy. Jezebels hate and/or distrust men and always question male authoritites.
Jezebels cause them to doubt their decisions, capability, manhood, worth, etc. Jezebels will not submit to God’s delegated authority.
They control and scorn, sarcasm, sharp tongue, public humiliation, emotional outbursts, nagging, and endless demands (nothing is ever enough). Jezebels are not always brash, overt, aggressive, or bossy. They may be more subtle, outwardly gracious, but just as determined to have their own way. Jezebels may resort to control by tears, fear, rejection, guilt, pouting, silence, sickness, or self-pity.
Don’t forget Ahithophel like Jezebel looks for areas of weakness in a persons life to gain control of what ever it is Fulfill there desire.
- JEZEBELS CAUSE FEAR, FLIGHT, AND DISCOURAGEMENT
They often cause a spiritual leader to flee his appointed place, as Elijah did. Jezebels are responsible for hundreds of resignations of pastors and spiritual leaders a year.
Some effects of being “jezebelled” are debiliting discouragement, confesion, depression, loss of vision, despair, disorientation, withdrawal, worthlessness, defeat, burnout, physical illness, financial insufficiency, and an infinite variety of other fiery darts, including death or at lest a deathwish.
The jezebel spirit cuts off the life of spiritual leadership. His reputation or ministry may be taken by character assassination or enticement into sexual immorality.
- JEZEBELS ARE NATURAL LEADES, ALTHOUGH OFTEN COVERTLY.
Jeezebels seek out people of influence to win their ear, gain credibility, and win endorsement. They try to ally with them, influence them, or establish a bond with them.They seek out places of leadership, are self-promoting, and proclaim themselves to be prophets. They provide inside information and gain a following, and thus lead people to take their eyes off the Lord. That is always an overt or subtle threat to leave and take their loyal followers” with them. This is the blackmailing spirit that operates with Jezebel. The Blackmailing spirit also says, “You owe me. You need me. If you don’t do what I want I will…”
- JEZEBELS ARE INSECURE AND WOUNDED WITH PRONOUNCED EGO NEEDS
They are trying to fill a love deficit. They seek continual affirmation and stroking of ego through position, being on the platform, occupying the spotlight, singing solos, holding key chairmanships, etc. Jezebels need to be popular, please people, be accepted and approved, be needed, be on the inside, or make other dependent on them.
They seek security in the good opinion of others of what they do. They operate on performance-based acceptance. They are striving to prove something to themselves and others-to prove their worth, to get their emotional needs met, to feel good based on what they do. They are perfectionist and legalistic.
Jezebels always have deep, unhealed wounds from one or more sources:
REJECTION early in life, abandonment or emotional remoteness by father or mother, illness, premature death, neglect because of birth order, loneliness, isolation, or rejection by significant others (for example, because of physical appearance).
RESISTANCE to authority because of bad relationships or bad experience with authority figures in school government, church, or family-correction done in the wrong way or abuse.
FEAR, INSECURITY, AND SELF-PRESERVATION. Fear is the principal entry for the Jezebel spirit to vulnerable, threatened people; Jezebels seek to control in order to feel secure.
BITTERNESS that gets into these wounds, especially against men because of abandonment or abuse. The spirit of jezebel often takes up residence in a person after a wound from the past, usually rejection or insecurity in some form.
- JEZEBELS ARE TREMENDOUJSLY SUBTLE AND DECEPTIVE.
They intend to get what they want at all costs, but this intention can be cleverly disguised, Jezebels use flattery, saying what you want to hear, to win you over to their domination. Jezebels are masters of manipulation by guilt, gifts, innuendo, insinuation, undermining influence, or discrediting.
They may exhibit false humility or submission, while they feed their own pride and seek to get their way. They may dominate, control, and manipulate to gain their own agenda. This mocks God’s ordained order, because it is not true heart submission, just pretense. Jezebels use flirtation and womanly wiles. They are extremely jealous of anyone they perceive to be a threat or who gets close enough to influence someone they want to control. They can emit jealousy into a room, as they play one person against another. They are divisive and send separation and strife into the strongest relationships.
Please read the text again where Naboth refused to give his inheritance – the spirit is a master at covert war.
- IT TAKES AN AHAB TO LET JEZEBELS BE EFFECTIVE AND OPERATE UNCHALLENGED.
Jezebels do not operate without an Ahab to enable them. Every Jezebel problem is an Ahab problem. What did Ahab do wrong? He should not have abdicated spiritual leadership nor his responsibility as head of his house and his nation, because his family and the nation were destroyed. The leader who will stand against Jezebel must have keep discernment in identifying spirits, a strong commitment to rightly divide the word of God, and a strong sense of submission to his or her own accountability. God removed Ahab and replaced him with Jesus, who dealt with jezebel. Pray for Ahab’s to be healed and strong and released into the fullness of God’s purpose for their lives.
- JEZEBEL IS ALWAYS A RELIGIOUS SPIRIT.
Both Jezebel of the Old Testament and of Revelation operated under the cover of religion, but that religion was “toxic faith,” Jezebels appear to be religious, can talk the talk, and have a form of godliness.
Their religious deeds are done for all to see. Often they claim to pray more, study the Bible more, or know more about worship, ministry, intercession, or missions.
They often target the prayer ministry, prophetic ministry, or worship ministry for ambition and control. “A word from God” is the crowbar for leverage. Check the fruit.
True spiritual gifts attract people to Jesus, not to themselves. Couterferet gifts emphasize personality. Is there self-promotion or seeking a following? John 16:13-14 says the one who speaks from Himself seeks his own glory or worship. Jezebels claim discernment, but is it really? False discernment is based on mistrust, fear, suspicion, fault finding, hidden agenda, coldness, no love, criticism, judgment, anger, ambition, bitterness, and stirring up strife.
So what is it this spirit wants? To be left alone and take as many with it as it can. Satan with great wrath and refuses to go to hell alone. “It’s not personal, it’s demonic based on past practices in the demon world.
When Jezebel comes to Israel, she brings her foreign gods and goddesses — especially Baal and his consort Asherah (Canaanite Astarte, often translated in the Bible as ‘sacred post’) — with her. This seems to have an immediate effect on her new husband, for just as soon as the queen is introduced, we are told that Ahab builds a sanctuary for Baal in the very heart of Israel, within his capital city of Samaria: ‘He took as wife Jezebel daughter of King Ethbaal of the Phoenicians, and he went and served Baal and worshiped him. He erected an altar to Baal in the temple of Baal which he built in Samaria. Ahab also made a ‘sacred post’ (1 Kings 16:31-33).(2)
She was taught the art of manipulation through witchcraft!
Jezebel does not accept Ahab’s God. Rather, she leads Ahab to tolerate Baal. This is why she is vilified by the Deuteronomist, whose goal is to stamp out polytheism.
She represents a view of womanhood that is the opposite of the one extolled in characters such as Ruth the Moabite, who is also a foreigner. Ruth surrenders her identity and submerges herself in Israelite ways; she adopts the religious and social norms of the Israelites and is universally praised for her conversion to God. Jezebel steadfastly remains true to her own beliefs.
There is only one thing this spirit is subject to, the word of God.
