The Image of God

Repost – Souls are being lost everyday – what are we doing about it?

There are times that we read Gods word and the essence of His truth is so amazing. Each time I read a singular text it opens many plural truths that are birthed through prayer and supplication. Gods word is given or revealed to keep those who believe searching to Feel His heart – His spirit. This spirit lives inside each and everyone one of that believe His Son His word. ”What is the image of God?”

Jesus came to earth as a man but the question is what was His image. It is critical that we know what the image of His word was and is.

Romans 8:29 King James Version (KJV)

”29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.”

Why the image?

Romans 8:3 – 4 KJV

” 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:

4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

The text above gives us to understand why He came yet it does not denotes how he came. The law was only a shadow of God’s truth – it was not the very reality of His Son.

The Bible itself is the greatest encyclopedia known to man, for within the 66 books contained in the bible – 39 old testament and 27 New Testament are the mysteries of God in relationship to the man Jesus Christ, the ”Living Word.”

My search took me back to the book of Isaiah to reference how Christ the anointed one came. He was more than an ordinary man, He was God in Human flesh. Jesus Christ the anointed word of God sent among us to redeem us from the curse of sin.

The Law was weak because it was only a shadow of Christ. The law could only show us sin but could not redeem us from sin. It was the blood of Jesus!

The book of Isaiah – ”The Book of Isaiah is the first of the Latter Prophets in the Hebrew Bible and the first of the Major Prophets in the Christian Old Testament. … Isaiah 44:6 contains the first clear statement of monotheism: “I am the first and I am the last; besides me, there is no God” Supported by Revelations 1:8 KJV

Isaiah 9:6 KJV – only God could redeem us but He needed a body with blood after the similitude of the lamb offered in place of Isaac.

”6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son, is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Jesus the word of God would be the hiding place for the mysteries of God found in this man who would reveal Gods will through his life, death, burial, and resurrection. (The gospel.)

He could only live what was written before the foundation of the world.

Isaiah 32:1-5 KJV

”1 Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, (The word of God) and princes shall rule in judgment.

📖 prophetic fulfilled in – Jesus

2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

Because of that which is in the image of this man (the spirit of God) the word would cause all those that come to God by faith able to see and hear things in the spirit that the natural man does not have access to. Thus the image of Jesus the word of God was and is spiritual through those that love his word.

📖 👇🏾 That same Jesus –

Isaiah 11:1-5 King James Version (KJV)

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: (Jesus)

2 – 1. And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the 2. spirit of wisdom and

  1. understanding, the 4. spirit of counsel and 5. might, 6. the spirit of knowledge and of

  2. the fear of the Lord;

The image of the man Jesus sent into this world – the spirit of God

Revelation 5:6 King James Version (KJV)

”6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”

Therefore, even in the flesh body we because of the Lord Jesus are given the opportunity to have the Holy Spirit which is the image of God. John 14:26 KJV states that the Holy Spirit will lead and guide the believer to all truth. Those prophetic promises found in the word of God.
