It’s all not the same!

When I First became a Pastor, one of the first things that the spirit of the Lord spoke to me, take my people where I have taken you. I did not call them to be your Audience! I called them as harvesters who are qualified to work in my garden – “It’s all not the same.”

Hebrews 6:1, NIV: “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God”

Allow me to open with this true story – There was a very Prominent Dr. Who traveled the country lecturing on bio chemical understanding. He did this year after year to colleges around the country – The thing about this Dr. he never travelled alone. He had the same chauffeur for over twenty years –

One day the Dr. told his driver, “I’m tired I’ve been speaking all across the country for 20 twenty years and I need one night to rest!

The chauffeur looked in the back seat and said, dr. I’ve sat in on every speech, and I’ve learned them verbatim – let’s switch jackets, you sit in the back of the auditorium and sleep.

So they arrive at the College auditorium, the announcer introduced the Dr. which is the Limo Driver, with the Dr. in the back of the auditorium asleep.

Things were going great, the driver didn’t miss a beat, he had the entire speech verbatim – as he was closing something happened that he was no expecting – A student stood up and said, “Dr. can you explain the theory of quantum physics?”

The Limo driver took a breath and replied, “That’s such a simple question, I’m going to wake up my Limo Driver in the back and have him explain your question.” The Limo Driver which was the Dr. explained and went back to sleep –

The moral of the story is based on a famous quote, “When preparedness meets opportunity it breeds success.”

I told that story for this reason – God did not call you to be a part of a church audience, He called you as a kingdom worker who have been prepared to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ based on revelation understanding, not mans knowledge!

Hebrews 5:12 KJV

CONSIDER WHAT GOD SAYS IN HEBREWS

“In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!”

To read the Bible itself is not meat, the meat of the word of God is the revealed word given by the spirit of God –

Paul makes this a reality – he was versed in the Law but there was one thing you didn’t have, the Revelation of Jesus Christ – yes he was a Jew of Jews but with out the spirit of God, he and other religious leaders were not effective teachers of the truth – But one day he got it right –

Turn with me to Galatians chapter 1 KJV

6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:

7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

11 But I certify you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.

12 For I neither received it of man, neither was I taught it, but by the revelation of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul was on the other side of Matthew 13:10-15 until God through the spirit called him –

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given – Paul was born out of due season but received the called and excepted after Ananias preached the gospel of Jesus to him – Ananias called him and evil man – God called him my Servant, in who through spirit have imparted my word revealed!

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Parables are not for the believer, revelation of God’s spirit is for the believer – the more you you sit as and audience member, the more you look for parables instead of revealed understanding the more you will be on milk and not the meat revealed by the word of God!

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

In order for this to be confirmed we must find its mate – Jesus is the day mate of His seed, whereby we must see the example of God not using parables with Him but impartation in the spirit –

Turn with me to Isaiah chapter 11

1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;

Revelations 5:6 KJV confirms above – the 7 spirits of God sent to the earth in the child/Jesus who was and is God

Back to Isaiah 11 KJV

It describes how God would send Jesus our example – 👇🏾

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears – He’s flesh and spirit

4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

In Ephesians 4 Paul makes sure leaders understand it ain’t about you, the people should have what you have spiritually – instead of them clapping for you, you should clap for them – give them the material you study and if they can’t handle it, prepare them to handle the word – We must never forget, it is God that gives the increase –

Jesus as a Master teacher, a Rabbi according to the spirit imparted into Him by the spirit of God – Jesus Himself imparted all that He as a man, his disciples were everything that He was!

Christ was confident that they had been made ready – Jesus tells His disciples, “greater works shall YE do because I go to the father

Ephesians 4

“11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ – what happens to this part leaders?

Not for the perfecting of my vestment, not for my jet, not for my house, not for my church, for the saints – verse 13&14 tells why –

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive

The sheep can’t grow until they are fed and protected –

In Closing, we must prepare kingdom workers for kingdom assignment. I thank God for those that I have Pastored and those who study with us around the word. We praise God for those saved under the covenant given our hand – “We are just beginning”
