In the Storm

As I sat this morning to think it hit me so true. Through this journey of life given me, I find being “in the storm,” at times is my reality. In the storm of life beaten by the wind and it’s might never knowing at times will I loose this fight.
What do I do as it comes, do I let go or hold on? For some the journey is easy for others it’s a fight.

Here’s what is strange. One moment you are at peace everything calm nothing to complain, then out of nowhere it comes this storm again so fast I can’t even run. Help I dare for there is no one there. No one to hold no one to call for in this fight, I’m “in the storm of my life.”

As I normally do I turn to the word of God for and answer. I read a story of a man on a ship, a man by the name of Paul. Paul was a man with Gods plan. He was a prisoner of a ship headed to Rome. One night while on this ship, a visit from a man and Angel dressed in white. His words were, “hold on my son because the ship in this fight will toss but no one will loose life. Save as many as you can, for this storm will try to kill every man. Hold on to what you can find, because I sent even the smallest piece to save your life.

Euroclydon was the storms name, he hit hard and true but there was a promise that would see me through. So come Euroclydon with all your might for I am no longer scared because I’m trusting in God that he will win this fight.

So hold on I did, trusting as he said never doubting that I would live.
Storms in life with blow. Yes they are sure to come and yes they are sure to go. “In the storm,” find your peace and hold on.
