2 Timothy 3:5 King James Version (KJV)

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. I am writing this blog to encourage all those walking in the gifting of God that produces life. God saved you filled you so that you can save and fill others with His spirit.

Luke 4:1 (KJV)

“And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,”

Please consider, if we are in the image of God we must be as he was as a man. This is why God came in human flesh so we could be like Jesus until he comes.

1 John 3:2 (KJV)

“Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

Above is the spirit reference to being complete and full like Christ. Below is the natural understanding left by Christ.

John 14:12 King James Version (KJV)

12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

To clarify our topic, “Full but empty.” Go with us to Matthews chapter 13. Christ himself explains the two natures of religion.

Matthew 13 King James Version (KJV)

13 The same day went Jesus out of the house, and sat by the sea side.

2 And great multitudes were gathered together unto him, so that he went into a ship, and sat; and the whole multitude stood on the shore.

3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given!

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

13 Therefore speak I to them (The first religious group need parables) in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

Jesus did not waste His time because they could only receive the natural mans understanding.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16 (Religion group two 2 based on the undefiled word of God.) But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Now we get a peak into why those who once walked with the Apostle Paul now hated him because he changed groups.

In order to understand the text we must examine Gods will for Christ as a man to make it relative. Turn with us to –

Isaiah Chapter 11 (KJV)

“11 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

{Isaiah 53 as the reference}

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:

4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth: with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

Therefore, Mathew chapter 13 (KJV) is the element of Gods spirit which can not be seen with eyes or heard with ears, it can only be found in the spirit of those that have been born a new.

Please consider Jesus the root of David was the first new birth because with every other birth a man was involved. With Christ no man were involved with his birth. The word of God was the seed that was planted in Mary which would produced the seed of faith Jesus. Mary heard in the spirit believed and received the promise of Isaiah.

Isaiah 9:6 (KJV)

“Isaiah 9:6 King James Version (KJV)

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

He was not seen here, he was not heard here but by faith in the spirit it had already happened.

When we come to Christ it is through His word/the gospel. Than as servants we are told to go make more servants with the gospel given us. Below is a great example of three individuals being full of the masters gift. Two are rewarded because they increased the fullness or completeness given. The one did nothing returning emptiness to the master.

“In both Matthew and Luke, a master puts his servants in charge of his goods while he is away on a trip. Upon his return, the master assesses the stewardship of his servants. He evaluates them according to how faithful each was in making wise investments of his goods to obtain a profit. It is clear that the master sought some profit from the servants’ oversight. A gain indicated faithfulness on the part of the servants. The master rewards his servants according to how each has handled his stewardship. He judges two servants as having been “faithful” and gives them a positive reward. To the single unfaithful servant, who “played it safe”, a negative compensation is given.”
