Who will be our next President?

What if America had a real-life true man or women of God, a Pastor as President? Anything can happen. Instead of many desiring the position of spiritual adviser, run for office. What if we had President full of the Holy Spirit? Yes anointed, tongue talking, feet walking, hand clapping anointed man or woman of God. It would be amazing to see and alter call at the Presidential inauguration. “Who will be our next President.”

There was once such a President, “The Late President Ronald Regan.”

Former President Ronald Reagan: ‘I am Born Again and I am a Bible Believer’

If you think it does not matter or not if our President is a believer or not, you are mistaken. Here’s my reasoning for asking, “who will be our next President.” Those my age witness what trusting God can do for the nation. America is in need of what this Country was built upon, “In God we trust.” The leader of the free world must have a direct line of communication with God. This leader must be able to call for the Ephod and go to God for themselves.

Ronald Wilson Reagan and evangelicals became one and the same, he understood the importance of keeping God first. After giving him the presidency, conservative Protestants shaped Reagan’s policies, and in turn, Reagan’s presidency shaped American evangelicalism.

In his presidential speeches to evangelical groups, the Great Communicator didn’t just communicate that conservative Christians were important to him and to the country, he told them that they were crucial. For example, Reagan’s 1983 “evil empire” speech—one of the most significant speeches of the 20th century—was delivered to the National Association of Evangelicals. That speech included references to C.S. Lewis’s Screwtape Letters, “a great spiritual awakening in America,” America’s own “legacy of evil,” school prayer, the Ten Commandments, and this telling litany: “an overwhelming majority of Americans disapprove of adultery, teenage sex, pornography, abortion, and hard drugs.” (He reiterated many of these themes in other addresses to the NAE.) But significantly, the speech began with Reagan telling the Christian leaders how important they were to him:

I’m pleased to be here today with you who are keeping America great by keeping her good. Only through your work and prayers and those of millions of others can we hope to survive this perilous. Where has this spiritual identity gone? “Who will be the next President to realign political policy’s based on the Christian narrative?

Reagan survived a 1981 assassination attempt that put a bullet near his heart, a 1985 colon cancer operation, and 1987 prostate and skin-cancer surgery.

The slogan, “Reaganomics” became a life turning of politic events based on a President with spiritual values that shaped America for all people.

In Closing, this makes one think, how important the values of our President must be. “Who will be our next President?” Will he/she look like our current Administration or will he/she identify with the Christian values needed to lead America back to the traditions that made our great Country amazing. Where in the archives of history we were all proud to say, “I am Born believer and in God I trust.” Think about it, “who will be our next President?”

In 1954, in response to the Communist threat of the times, President Eisenhower encouraged Congress to add the words “under God,” creating the 31-word pledge we say today. Bellamy’s daughter objected to this alteration. Today it reads:

“I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”

Satan is always a threat within, we must under/covered by the word of God. We can not forget past – We can only develop the future based on the past.
