There are many things in the world we live that are powerful. There have been many men and women of power, but nothing more powerfully l than the word of God.

Satan desires one thing, to stop your confession of Jesus Christ the word of God. If he can stop your confession he thinks he can stop the gospel.

Science in their thirst for power have created weapons of mass destruction. Man has created nuclear weapons that can wipe out and entire country, yet there is a power that goes beyond all the elements of power known to man, “the word of God.”

I understand God’s Power, if we look at the Apostle Paul who at one time was a very Powerful man himself. It is when he comes into the knowledge of the true power, his understanding changes and he writes in.

Romans 1:16 KJV

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”

Gods power is eternal it teaches into areas and places that are outside of time. The word of God can be spoke hundreds of years in the past and manifest as though it had already happened.

Isaiah 9:6 King James Version (KJV)

Past tense

6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.”

Matthew 1:21 King James Version (KJV)

Present tense

21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Gods word is so powerful- He’s writes the ending before the beginning and verified in blood and water on the cross. The crimson stain of sin, (blood) removed by 💦 water.

His word is so powerful, God through His word paints a physical image for the world to see, than hides it in the spirit only revealed to those with no eyes!

1 Corinthians 10:2-5 King James Version (KJV)

2 And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

3 And did all eat the same spiritual meat;

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ.

5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

The word of God is so powerful at the same time God was not please with them, He found please in His sons death that would bring life to what He/God reprised.

Isaiah 53:10 King James Version (KJV)

“10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

The gospel the word of God is the truth of God here on earth as we wait for the kingdom which is to come. Our faith in the word of God produces the power of God that keeps the believer is a place of expectation.

2 Timothy 3:16-17

“All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.”

Matthew 24:35 King James Version (KJV)

“35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.”

The Power of God his word will never pass away it is eternal. If you are in the word of God and the word of God in you, you too will never pass away because you operate in this kingdom in the power of Gods word.

How does one get this power?

Acts 1:8 King James Version (KJV)

8 “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”

Hebrews 11:6 New King James Version (NKJV)

“6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.”

The benefit of Gods word his power

1 John 3:2 King James Version (KJV)

“2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.”

In Conclusion, that same power that framed the world’s – if it abides in you when Christ returns will remove us from this kingdom and will transform us into the kingdom of his son – the lamb. Gods bride will be with him in eternity.

Revelations 22:1-4 KJV

1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

The opinions of this blog are solely those of its author. In no way do we claim to be and expert in Gods word. We simply share what the spirit reveals.

The past is a great reminder to and expected future. For this cause we honor the “The Late Bishop JC Thompson.” Gone but not forgotten.
