I don’t believe he brought me this far to leave me

Have you ever just sat along and the tears started to flow. You leave the thought of your issues or pain and began to just tell the Lord thank you. It’s at that moment you realize, “He didn’t bring you this far the leave you.” Yes the love of God’s word will cover you.

He was there when He call mom or dad home. He was there when our children faced trouble and we had no way to bring them out, only God. He was there when the job laid us off. He was there when the doctor gave you up and said you didn’t have long to live. He was there when friends and family turned away and walked on you. He was there all the time, “I don’t believe He brought me this far to leave me.”

What I love about God He makes sure every trial can be found in His word.

1 Corinthians 10:13 King James Version (KJV)

13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Where’s the reason for 1 Corinthians 10:13 and the reason I can say he didn’t bring us this far to leave us.

Yes it will become hard at times. Yes you will have to walk alone. Yes you might loose everything. Yes you might have to cry sometimes. Yes men will forsake you. Yes like Job you might pray and pray until you can pray no more. But remind yourself, “I know he didn’t bring me this far to leave me.”

Than pickup the word of God and turn to

Psalm 34:19 King James Version (KJV)

“19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.”

You can shut right here because He’s going to deliver the beloved out of it all.

  • Many by definition…> “a large number of”
  • Afflictions by definition…> “something that causes pain or suffering.”
  • Deliver by definition…> “provide (something promised or expected)”

Here’s my observation – You can boldly declare I know that I know, that I know I know. He didn’t bring me this far to leave me.

I got this message based on the definitions in the text of – Psalms 34:19 KJV

  1. Therefore, there will be much pain and suffering, (as Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourself like wise.”

  2. The promises to Abraham are is n our lives – God told Abraham, “those that bless you I’ll bless them. Those that curse you I’ll curse them.

  3. In the gospel according to St John 14 chapter KJV – Jesus makes this declaration to His disciples to strengthen their faith.

John 14 King James Version (KJV)

14 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. “I don’t believe He brought me this far to leave me.”
