The Christian journey begins when the believer identifies within his/herself that our complete hope is in Christ Jesus the word of God. It is incredible to discover, if you ask most Christians what is our “Bless hope,” they can’t tell you.
Please share this blog with as many as you can. If more people knew this truth I believe more would come to Christ.
Allow me to Segway for one moment – Hebrews 9:27 King James Version (KJV) –
“27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment“
Death is not the end! Judge than our reward, good or bad.
Death by definition…> “Death is separation. Physical death is the separation of the soul from the body.”
To simply state, the soul belongs to God the creator. It is His choice to do what He wants with His creation. For the believer, there is a place that has been prepared.
- Revelations 22:1-5 KJV – This is the blessed hope
- There is another place prepared for those non believers without hope – Remember the definition of death – separation of the body and soul – in this case where there is a non believer – it is the separation of man from God for eternity – human will never have the opportunity – to be restored to God because of eternal damnation.
Example – Adam and Eve became – non-believers and were separated from God forever. They went from Eternal life – life = death – because of the work of the cross ☦️ the believer has an eternal hope – life + death = eternal salvation – separated from this physical world to an eternal Kingdom. “The New Jerusalem”
One day heaven and earth will pass away. Our central hope must be centered around the eternal promise of a future Kingdom. (John 14 – Revelations 22 chapters) “It’s up to you.”
Please consider, some not all preachers spend so little time preaching about Jesus Christ. Some hardly mention Him. Week after week, they attempt to correct the problems of the church, and often it is the case that Christ is not mentioned. As one good man said, “The members take their beating and go home.” But please consider that Christ is our only hope.
It is wonderfully written in The Book of Acts chapter 4 verse 12 KJV – Jesus is the only way to that blessed eternal life
“12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
The angel said: “thou shalt call his name JESUS; for it is he that shall save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21). Nobody can save himself.
After we have done all things commanded, we are still unprofitable servants (Luke 17:10). Paul wrote of the “salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory” (2 Timothy 2:10). Jesus said, “the Son of man came to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10). “Behold, the Lamb of God, that taketh away the sin of the world!” (John 1:29). “It’s up to you.”
We were once alienated from God a people without hope.

“6 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
7 For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.“
Beloved, we can rejoice – we through the blood of Jesus because the work of the cross is waiting for the day when our savior shall return for His bride. “We don’t sorrow as those without hope for His love brought us back.

Jesus is our eternal hope of Glory –
This should give great comfort to those who believe in Him. Jesus told His sorrowing disciples: “Let not your heart be troubled: believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I come again, and will receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3). Someday He will come in the clouds of Heaven and gather His faithful home with Him to be in Heaven forevermore (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Peter 1:4). Paul said that “if the earthly house of our tabernacle be dissolved, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal, in the heavens.” (2 Corinthians 5:1). It’s up to you.”
Christ is the Way, and any who go to the Father must go through Him (John 14:6). In order to know how to be a real Christian, look at Him. Philippians 2:5 says, “Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus.” This means to have the same spirit or disposition of heart that characterized the Christ, Who never sought to please Himself, but always seek to do the will of the Father (Romans 15:3; John 4:34; John 6:38).
As preachers of the gospel, we must feed Gods people the truth and explain Hope is only found in eternity, not in this world.
In Conclusion, It took me a long time but I can truly say that I now understand – Psalm 146:3-5 King James Version (KJV)
“3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.”
“Man is limited by time and space, God is not. God transcends time, in other words, He is outside the scope of time and is not limited by time.”
