Lord make me just like you

Written by,

Robert Johnson

There is nothing more that I desire then the Love of God. My concern is just Israel/Gods people be saved. Lord make me just like you. I desire nothing save Jesus Christ and Him crucified – I want to be right, I want to be saved, I want to be whole – if you find any fault that should not be, take it out and straighten me. “Lord make me just like you.” I desire nothing of this world –

My topic text today is found in Isaiah 35 – as I study the New Covenant from and Old Testament perspective, I notice something amazing in Gods protection of His word, His Don Jesus. Anytime the enemy tried to remove the man Jesus from Gods divine assignment God hides Him/Jesus right before their faces –

Child of God, let the enemy plot, let him do as he will – in all things you just give thanks an watch Gods hand of favor in your life – prove all things hold fast to that which is God –

Please read the text closely – John 10 KJV

MANY HAVE TO PROTECT THEIR FALSE DOCTRINES – THE INKY WAY TO PROTECT IS TO GET RID OF THE TRUTH AT LEAST THEY THOUGHT!

John 10 KJV –

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Please consider His words – I gave, is past tense of something given before it is deserved or earn –

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.

Religious leaders calling Jesus/God a blasphemer – if you don’t see we as the true church are in trouble in this world – you have you eye shut!

34 Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

35 If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken;

36 Say ye of him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, Thou blasphemest; because I said, I am the Son of God?

37 If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him.

39 Therefore they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,

40 And went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John at first baptized; and there he abode.

God hid His purpose right before their eyes – no matter what they did God continued to frustrate their purpose because they are not His sheep!

Let them stone you, if you live you are His if you die you are His – when I was a child I thought as a child, now that I’m mature in the word of God my thoughts are not consumed by this word an it’s evil –

Write this scripture everywhere Remember it!

Ephesians 1:11 NIV

“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,”

Thus if God but protected Jesus before they picked up stones is must be written – this is why they could not come against Him – They needed an army of them – Jesus only had a Him/The word of God!

Yes God hid His Son in the word – Turn to Isaiah 32 KJV – just a few scriptures

1 Behold, a king (Jesus) shall reign in righteousness, (Righteousness is the word of God) and princes shall rule in judgment.

2 And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land.

  • The man Jesus the hiding place for the word of God on earth –
  • He was hidden from the wind and tempest – The Pharisees and the Sadducees who sought to kill him! This is not a joke it’s real
  • A shadow of a rock – Daniel saw Him as that stone that came rolling through Babylon – ” The song writer said.”
  • He Jesus would become a river of water to all those thirsty/dry places

Isaiah 55:1 KJV

Come, all you who are thirsty, come to the waters; and you who have no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost.”

3 And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken.

4 The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

5 The vile person shall be no more called liberal, nor the churl said to be bountiful.

6 For the vile person will speak villany, and his heart will work iniquity, to practise hypocrisy, and to utter error against the LORD, to make empty the soul of the hungry, and he will cause the drink of the thirsty to fail.

In Closing, you know why please play games, to cover up that they can not reveal the truth of the word of God – it’s easier to make you look like boo boo the clown – oppose to you finding out they don’t know what they confess –

Do you think those religious leaders were impressed when they came to Jesus about the subject divorce and Ge revealed to them that He was the author of divorce – they were upset

A. He think he knows everything

B. He over talks all of us

C. He’s to aggressive in the way He teaches

D. He has no compassion for no one else

Jesus was a threat to their egos, thus they had to present Him in a way to cause His own to reject Him – how do I know this – it was prophetically written – you ask where?

We see this with Saul and David –

If you don’t people are Assassinating characters to build their there own, you are wrong –

1 Samuel chapter 18 this spirit is old –

5 And David went out whithersoever Saul sent him, and behaved himself wisely: and Saul set him over the men of war, and he was accepted in the sight of all the people, and also in the sight of Saul’s servants.

6 And it came to pass as they came, when David was returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, that the women came out of all cities of Israel, singing and dancing, to meet king Saul, with tabrets, with joy, and with instruments of musick.

7 And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands.

8 And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom?

These type of individuals are very treacherous – they will do anything to remove what they don’t understand – consider the text below –

The Book of Acts 23rd Chapter

1 And Paul, earnestly beholding the council, said, Men and brethren, I have lived in all good conscience before God until this day.

He was once apart of them – they were his brethren-

2 And the high priest Ananias commanded them that stood by him to smite him on the mouth – all because he refuse to no longer walk in they ways –

3 Then said Paul unto him, God shall smite thee, thou whited wall: for sittest thou to judge me after the law, and commandest me to be smitten contrary to the law?

4 And they that stood by said, Revilest thou God’s high priest?

5 Then said Paul, I wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, Thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.

6 But when Paul perceived (discern) that the one part were Sadducees, and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee: of the hope and resurrection of the dead I am called in question.

Isaiah 53:3-10 KJV

In typology we would look at Miriam and Aaron with Moses – (Does God only speak to Moses?)

3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 KJV

“What has been will be again, / what has been done will be done again; / there is nothing new under the sun.”
